However, this wasn’t the full game. Attendees were allowed to choose from several saved game files for their demo. Ikaboze, the content creator who completed the game, selected a save placed just before the final battle with Ganon. After removing all unnecessary equipment, Ikaboze quickly jumped into the final battle, managing to finish the game in only seven minutes—well under the ten-minute time limit set by Nintendo for the demo.
Ikaboze shared, “I was surprised by how many people had gathered. Staff were even filming on their smartphones. This was the first time anyone had completed the Breath of the Wild demo, and staff congratulated me.”
It’s important to note that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch 2 does not include the Expansion Pass, which must be purchased separately. This means that the overall cost of the game will be higher for new buyers. However, it was confirmed at the event that updates for Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom on the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be free for those subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
