Spire Introduces Archer 12 Vertical Ergonomic Mouse
Ron Perillo / 2 years ago
Spire does more than just CPU coolers and cases. In fact, they make ergonomic devices as well, such as their latest product the Archer 12 vertical mouse. Vertical you say? Yes! Unlike the typical mouse which sits flat on a desk which the user moves around with their palms down on top of it, the Archer 12 lets users hold their hand sideways. This is more comfortable for some users, especially older ones with joint issues. It is also a more “natural” position for a person’s hand which should prevent wrist pain in comparison to traditional way.
Spire Archer 12 Features
The Archer 12 is wireless, using the 2.4Ghz frequency and has a micro dongle which stores at the bottom if not needed. It has a range of up to 10 meters. Users can also plug it in via a micro-USB cable provided which charges the built-in Polymer battery. An LED indicator lets users know when the battery is running out.
Users can choose between 800, 1200 and 1600 DPI settings via the DPI switch button right behind the scroll-wheel. Plus, it has a zoom-in and zoom-out function. The mouse itself measures 12.1 x 7 x 6.4cm and is made of ABS+PP+PC housing.
Pricing and Availability
The Archer 12 comes with a 2-year warranty and is plug-and-play USB compatible on Windows, Android and Mac. It has an MSRP of €49,95 and will be available in Europe starting November.
