Steam Wintersales Are upon Us, Hide Your Wallets

It’s that wonderful time of year, no wait, hide your wallets. The Steam Winter Holiday sales have started and will be running until January 2nd. As every year, there are thousands of games at huge discount and with a temptation that is hard to resist.

The Steam Holiday sales feature both badges and the community’s choice again. You get to vote for some of the upcoming sales and you’ll earn trading cards for votes and purchases. Steam also introduced the Booster Pack Creator that lets you recycle leftover cards into gems when the sales are over.

Seen above are the top-sellers so far, and it isn’t hard to see why. There are some great deals in there with Microsoft Flight Simulator at an 80% discount, Civilization V complete at an 75% reduced price and even the new Beyond Earth can be had at an 40% discount.

Other running deals included Euro Truck Simulator 2 at an 85% discount, Dark Souls 2 at a 63% discount and State of Decay can be yours for €4.74 with its 75% discount.
