Today Steam has released SteamVR 2.0 in Beta marking the first major step towards many new improvements with VR on Steam.
The Beta for SteamVR 2.0 introduces a new UI with several new features including most of the current features of Steam and Steam Deck being introduced to SteamVR. The keyboard has also been updated with new language support, emojis and themes as well as the integration of Steam Chat and Voice Chat. The storefront has been improved and places new and popular VR games right up front for priority.
This is just the beginning for SteamVR 2.0 and over time Steam will be collecting feedback to improve the feature and build more towards the full public launch.
To try out this beta you need to follow the instructions to activate both the Steam Client Beta and SteamVR Beta.
