Stellar Blade has Sold More Than One Million Copies in Just 3 Days on PC

Today, the developers at Shift Up have announced that the PC version of Stellar Blade has sold one million copies in its first three days of release. The developers pointed out that this means Stellar Blade is now the highest performing single-player game that was developed domestically.
Stellar Blades Popularity
Everyone knew Stellar Blade would be popular on PC as the game released last year on the PS5, and so far, the game has sold 3 million copies across both platforms. Now, in just 3 days, over 1 million copies have been sold on PC alone, so it’s very possible in the next few weeks to months that the PC version may overtake the console version.
So why is Stellar Blade so popular? Is it because of the game’s thrilling gameplay, gripping story, or could it be because of the game’s extensive modding support? Well, I’m going out on a limb here to say it might be because of the number of gamers thirsting over the main character, and the proliferation of NSFW mods is pretty telling on that front. Aside from sending gamers to horny jail, the game does seem quite good. I haven’t tried it myself, but given the popularity, I may have to give it a try… and not because of the mods, honest.

Jokes aside, the game is incredibly well-optimised. Even with Denuvo, an NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti delivers a smooth gaming experience at 1440p on Max Settings, so you won’t have to sacrifice visuals for a few extra frames per second.

“Earth has been abandoned, and what is left of the decimated human race has fled to a Colony in outer space. After travelling from the Colony, EVE arrives on the desolate remains of our planet with a clear-cut mission: to save humankind by reclaiming Earth from the Naytiba – the malevolent force that has devastated it. But as EVE tackles the Naytiba one by one, piecing together the mysteries of the past in the ruins of human civilisation, she realises that her mission is far from straightforward. In fact, almost nothing is as it seems…” – Steam
