While only having a single 8-pin CPU power connector, we didn’t have any issues reaching our 5 GHz all-cores target on this motherboard. However, I’m surprised that performance was as good as it was, and that’s thanks in no small part to the competent heatsinks, MOSTETs and Capacitors on the board. It performed well enough to compete with some other high-end Z390 motherboard, and even beat a few more expensive ones such as the WS Pro. Overall, it’s a great motherboard for overclocking, and there are clear performance gains to be found.
