The possibility of this being entire fake is very possible, but an image has been released via Reddit and is gaining traction. This is not the first time Xbox Infinity has been declared as a possible name for the next-gen system, back in 2011, the Xbox “Loop” description was already revealed in a roadmap.
Microsoft has been a little domain registering happy lately having picked up Xbox8.org, Xbox8.us, as well as XboxFusion.co.uk, XboxFusion.de, XboxFusion.info, XboxFusion.biz, all of which could be clues to the next name. The Xbox Fusion name hasn’t gotten as much attention as Infinite, 720 or Loop but if they console will run on the AMD Fusion platform, that could still be a potential moniker.
This is still all unconfirmed but we’ll definitely know more after Microsoft’s Xbox event on May 22nd.
