The drives do look fantastic too, with that digital camo mosaic look to them. They’re a good size too, measuring just 125mm x 80mm x 17.5mm, they can easily be stored out of the way, fit in your backpack, or even in a laptop bag without too much cause for concern.
Both the drives are surprisingly lightweight too, of course, the HDD is a little heavier at 180 grams, but the SSD is amazingly just 104 grams.
The SureFire logo is nicely presented, and looks great on the glossy black.
At the top of the drive, there are three RGB LED lights, which simply go through a slow colour cycle, and we’ll see that in action shortly.
The rear of the drives is finished in matte black. Plus, there are some tiny feet there, allowing the drive not to sit flat on a desk; this will help reduce vibration noise on the HDD model).
Both drives have the same single port for the USB cable. As I said before, they’re plug and play ready, and the cable comes bundled with the drive.
Overall, it looks awesome, so let’s dive in for a closer look at what they have to offer.
