Dashboard

Synology’s dashboard is one of the most advanced on the market and it resembles an operating system more than an admin interface. You got the start menu with the available apps and features at the top left while system functions and notifications are located at the top right. You can drag shortcuts for the features you use most to the desktop and also run widgets for quick information at a glance.

  1. You might want to remove the pic with the serial number or at least make it unreadable. XPEnology users might hijack your serial to enable their non-Synology hardware to use QuickConnect. Speaking from experience. ;-)
