Syntech has released its new VR head strap with a battery pack designed to improve the comfort and stability of VR headsets and also provide a longer battery life.

Syntech VR Elite Strap With Battery Pack

This VR head strap with battery pack from Syntech is specifically designed for the Oculus/Meta Quest 2 and has been awarded the prestigious 2023 Red Dot Award for outstanding product design. The VR head strap features a Snap-Fit connection design which reduces the pressure on the users head. The head strap ensures users can enjoy a comfortable VR experience and thanks to the battery that can be mounted to the strap, users can enjoy it for even longer. The strap also features a flexible 60-degree adjustable design making taking the headset on and off a simple and easy task. Ensuring comfort is the PU foam which is placed on each support point of the head strap with skin-friendly materials.

Specifications

The battery mount allows for the battery to be removed at any time without also having to remove the head strap which differs from the built-in battery strap on the Quest 2. The battery itself features a 10,000mAh capacity which enables users to charge the Quest 2 twice via USB-C and extends the battery life by around 4-6 hours. Ensuring the battery is safe to use has also been taken into account with the included overcharge protection, overload protection, short-circuit protection and over-temperature protection.

Price and Availability

The Syntech VR Elite Strap with Battery Pack is available now from Amazon for an MSRP of £59.99|$59.99.
