System Requirements for Crytek’s Hunt Showdown Revealed

Crytek’s Hunt Showdown is in Early Access.

You might not be aware of this, but Crytek is working on a first-person PvP bounty hunting game. That game is named Hunt Showdown, and it has recently entered Steam’s Early Access program. Early Access doesn’t have a very good reputation right now, but its goal is to allow us to test out games before they enter their final stages. As such, Hunt Showdown probably has its fair share of bugs at this time, so if you do decide to try it out, be patient and report anything you find to the developers. Apart from announcing its Early Access stage, Crytek has also revealed the game’s PC requirements.

Is it very demanding?

In short: it doesn’t look like it. The minimum GPU requirement is a GeForce GTX 660 or a Radeon R9 370, both of which are pretty old cards. On the other hand, since a 6th generation i5 and the Ryzen 3 1200 made the minimum requirements list, it appears that this will be a CPU bound game. To play this title at max settings, you’ll need a rather decent Intel i5/Ryzen 5 paired with a GTX 970 4 GB or AMD Radeon R9 390X graphics card. You can find a complete list of requirements below.

MINIMUM:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.
    • OS: Windows 7 64bit.
    • Processor: Intel i5 @ 2.7GHz (6th Generation) or AMD Ryzen 3 1200.
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM.
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 TI or AMD Radeon R9370.
    • DirectX: Version 11.
    • Network: Broadband Internet connection.
    • Storage: 20 GB available space.
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible audio card.
    • Additional Notes: Best experienced with headphones.

RECOMMENDED:

    • Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system.
    • OS: Windows 10 64 bit.
    • Processor: Intel i5 @ 3.2 GHz (6th Generation) or AMD Ryzen 5 1400.
    • Memory: 12 GB RAM.
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4 GB or AMD Radeon R9 390X.
