Take-Two Confirms GTA 6 Release in Fall 2025, No Delays Expected

In the latest financial report, Take-Two has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI, developed by Rockstar Games, will officially launch in fall of this year for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
No Delays Expected So Far
It appears that the game will not face any delays, and as of now, the development seems to be proceeding as planned. Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, did acknowledge that there is always a possibility of delay, but he expressed confidence that the release window will be met. “there’s always a risk of slippage,” Zelnick said, adding, however, that the company is optimistic about meeting the release date.
Rockstar’s Dedication to Perfection

Zelnick also commented on the high expectations surrounding GTA 6, saying, “I think the game is eagerly anticipated both internally and externally.” He went on to mention Rockstar’s dedication to perfection, stating, “We know that Rockstar seeks perfection,” and that he never claims success before it happens. He added, “Arrogance is the enemy of continued success.”
In the meantime, as fans continue to speculate about the release date of the second trailer for GTA 6, Take-Two has provided reassurance regarding the release window of the new installment. However, since no further details have been provided, we’ll have to wait for more information as development continues.
Sadly, Rockstar Games is known for its tendency to delay games, so the possibility of Grand Theft Auto VI being delayed still exists, as Zelnick rightly explained. However, it is certainly reassuring to know that the development of the game seems to be progressing smoothly without major setbacks.
