Team Group Launches the T-Force Z54E PCIe 5.0 SSD with Record-Breaking Speeds

Team Group has announced its latest solid-state drive, the T-Force Z54E, an SSD based on the PCIe 5.0 interface that promises to take storage performance to a whole new level.

Extreme Speed and Advanced Components

This model reaches an impressive sequential read speed of up to 14,900 MB/s, placing it among the fastest drives currently available.

The achievement is made possible by combining the Phison E28 controller, built using TSMC’s 6 nm process, with 232-layer 3D TLC NAND memory. This combination delivers consistent data flow and excellent energy efficiency. The hardware ensures high stability even under heavy workloads, offering outstanding read and write performance.

The T-Force Z54E will be available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB versions. The higher-capacity models can reach sequential write speeds of up to 14,000 MB/s, while the 1 TB version delivers around 13,700 MB/s, maintaining an excellent balance between speed and capacity.

Efficient Cooling for Consistent Performance

Since PCIe 5.0 SSDs tend to generate more heat due to their massive bandwidth, Team Group has implemented an ultra-thin graphene heatsink. This cooling system helps control temperature and maintain stable performance during long sessions, preventing speed drops caused by overheating.

With this new drive, Team Group strengthens its position in the high-performance storage market. The T-Force Z54E not only represents a major upgrade over PCIe 4.0 models but also sets a new benchmark for hardware enthusiasts, content creators, and gamers seeking the best possible performance for their PCs.
