Gaming is big business, and if you’re involved in a lot of MMO gaming, you know that you’re going to be demanding more from your mouse than you would in your typical FPS title. You’ll want more buttons at your command, more macros, a high-DPI sensor, and comfortable ergonomics that can keep your hand free from discomfort during those marathon raid sessions. Tesoro thinks they’ve got the answer with their Thyrsus gaming mouse, and while we’re not even going to attempt to guess how that is pronounced, the specifications do plenty of talking for us.
“Sometimes 6-8 buttons are not enough to have an advantage over opponents. This is why we offer Thyrsus laser gaming mouse designed especially for MMO games that combine total of 10 fully programmable buttons, epic quality sensor and legendary feeling of true ergonomics.” – Tesoro
Equipped with a high-performance 8200 DPI laser sensor, 10 fully programmable buttons, fast tracking speed, up to five profiles for up to 50 macros, LED lighting, and more, the Thyrsus is certainly ticking all the right boxes for an MMO gaming mouse.
The box is very nicely designed, with a great image of the mouse, as well as the Thyrsus. All Tesoro peripherals are named after legendary and mythical weapons, and you can see the weapon “Thyrsus” on the front of the box also.
A quick breakdown of the specifications around the back.
As with all Tesoro products, a quick explanation of the name of the mouse, in this case, named after the staff of Dionysus; rather fitting for a gaming mouse.
In the box, you’ll find the instruction booklet, as well as a Tesoro product guide.
