Back to Basics with Tesoro
Tesoro is preparing a new mechanical keyboard they are calling the GRAM MX One. Unike their recent RGB LED laden offerings, the GRAM MX One has a single colour backlighting. It focuses instead in providing a solid bang-for-buck, minimalist mechanical keyboard experience.
As you might have guessed from the name, the GRAM MX One uses the trusty Cherry MX switch. In fact, Tesoro offers the keyboard in two varieties: Cherry MX Brown (tactile silent 45cN) and Cherry MX Blue (tactile clicky 50cN).
The keyboard body and keycap itself is available in either black or white. Both sporting a blue LED per-key backlighting. It also uses a standard 104-key ANSI layout with 1.25x bottom row keys. This will let users customize the keycaps with greater compatibility with other kits out there. Not that they need to. In fact, the GRAM MX One uses double injection PBT keycaps for extended durability rather than the typical ABS.
Like any worthy gaming keyboard, it has NKRO capability via USB. However, users can also switch it to the standard 6KRO for compatibility purposes when not gaming.
How Much is the GRAM MX One Keyboard?
Tesoro is launching the GRAM MX One keyboard on Christmas eve, December 24th, 2018. It will have a retail price of only $79 USD.
