The Blood of Dawnwalker Sequel Already in the Works as Rebel Wolves Plans a Saga
The success of The Blood of Dawnwalker seems to have already convinced Rebel Wolves to look beyond its first game.
Just a few days after launch, the studio has confirmed that it has started working on the next chapter of the saga, even opening a search for a key person for the narrative team.
Jakub Szamalek, narrative director at Rebel Wolves, revealed the news through a post published on LinkedIn. The developer pointed out that The Blood of Dawnwalker sold more than one million copies during its launch weekend, but explained that the team does not intend to stop and simply celebrate the results it has achieved.
Rebel Wolves Is Already Looking Beyond The Blood of Dawnwalker
Rebel Wolves is already looking for a Lead Writer who can work alongside Szamalek and the rest of the narrative team on what is clearly described as the “next chapter in the Dawnwalker saga.”
This is therefore one of the first clear confirmations of the studio’s future plans, although no details about the new project have been shared at the moment. We still do not know whether it will be a direct sequel, what historical period will be chosen, or whether Rebel Wolves will keep a structure similar to that of the first game.
The idea of turning Dawnwalker into a saga had already emerged before the game’s release. However, the commercial success achieved at launch seems to have sped up preparations for what will come next.
For now, the new game has not been officially announced, but one thing is clear: The Blood of Dawnwalker will have more games, and Rebel Wolves is already working on what comes next.
