The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Size Leaked Before Official Announcement
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been one of the worst-kept secrets in the gaming world. It has been talked about for months, some images have already been seen, an official website has been found, and now we know the installation size, at least for PC. The game will take up 120 GB of space, which promises to be a very large game.
Massive Installation Size
This information was shared by the user X @X0X_LEAK, who got it from Steam. Specifically, the game will require 120.94 GB of space. To put this into perspective, the original Oblivion was only about 4.6 GB (5.58 GB for the Definitive Edition), meaning this new version will be 2529.13% bigger.
This makes sense, considering that we are talking about a massive RPG, and the game is expected to run on Unreal Engine 5, a powerful engine known for creating large, detailed games.
Official Confirmation Still Missing
At the moment, nothing about this game has been officially confirmed. However, the rumors and leaks that have come out recently are so numerous and accurate (the existence of an official website can’t be faked) that we can almost be sure that the game exists, unless this is all part of an elaborate joke, though the reason for such a joke remains unclear.
Now, all that’s left is the official launch. According to some rumors, the launch could happen today, likely in the evening. It would make sense for Bethesda to release a new Elder Scrolls game (even if it’s just a remaster) during Easter, especially since they released a new DOOM trailer at Easter as well.
