The original Dead Space video game came out in October 2008 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Developed by EA Redwood Shores and published by EA, the title gained quite a few accolades shortly after its release. Critics and gamers welcomed it with open arms, and they followed the story of Isaac Clarke with great interest. Back then, survival horror games were in short supply, and Dead Space paved the way for other successful titles that followed. Even though it doesn’t hold up to current-gen standards, the game is still worth playing even to this day. Its gripping storyline and RPG gameplay elements are just some of its main highlights.
If you have an Origin account, you should probably go ahead and activate your free copy of Dead Space. It looks like the offer will only remain available for a limited time, so you should act while you still can. EA has been offering interesting games for free lately, but many gamers choose to stay clear of its Origin platform. Moreover, old Dead Space fans most likely have the game on Steam already, but those of you who never got a chance to play it will definitely enjoy it now.
