The Intel Battlemage Will Be Announced on December 3rd, Available from the 12th

There has been a lot of buzz lately around Intel’s upcoming Arc-based Battlemage series. Leaked designs, rumors about the launch price, and now even the official announcement date have surfaced.

Intel is set to unveil this new generation of graphics on December 3rd, with availability slated for December 12th. According to the latest information, these cards will be available in two stages: Intel’s special edition Arc cards will hit the market on December 12th, while custom models from third-party manufacturers will follow a day later, on December 13th.

Availability and Launch Details

These dates come from Videocardz, who originally reported on the launch schedule. While the special edition Intel Arc cards will be available starting December 12th, custom models from board partners will go on sale the next day, December 13th. The Intel Battlemage series will initially include two models: the Arc B580 and the Arc B570. However, it’s still unclear whether Intel will release higher-end models or entry-level options alongside them.

Leaked Specifications

According to the latest leaks, the Arc B570 is expected to feature 18 Xe2 cores, but there’s still limited information on the exact specifications. On the other hand, the Arc B580 is rumored to pack 20 Xe2 cores, along with 12GB of RAM. The B580 is expected to feature a 192-bit memory interface and a clock speed of 2.8 GHz. Additional details, including pricing, have also been circulating. While still unconfirmed, it’s speculated that the B580 will be priced around $250.

With the official launch fast approaching, we’ll soon have all the details on these next-generation Intel graphics cards. Keep an eye out for more updates as December 12th draws closer.
