While we’ve moved a little more down the range now, I like to think this is more of a motherboard for people living on planet Earth. The XTREME and MASTER are awesome to behold, but overkill for all but about a few dozen people with deep pockets. The AORUS ELITE is where I’d spend my own money. It still features a twin 16+2+2 Phases Digital VRM design, with a 70A Power Stage, an 8-Layer 2X Copper PCB, Fully Covered MOSFET Heatsinks, 8 mm Mega-Heatpipe and a 7 W/mk Thermal Conductivity Pad. So while it’s not as packed as the other two, it’s hardly lacking in awesome hardware of its own, and should easily make the most of any AMD CPU and overclock you throw at it!
There’s a PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 & 3 x PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 with M.2 Thermal Guard, ensuring you’ve got some super-fast storage to enjoy. There’s also a single PCIe 4.0 x16 with Ultra Durable™ Armor and 1 PCIe 4.0 x4 & 1PCIe 3.0 x2 for your GPU and other peripheral devices.
There’s great connectivity here too, with the latest WiFi 6E, and 2.5Gb LAN offering you faster networking, and a plethora of USB ports, including a USB-C 20G, and USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
