Thecus N2560 2-Bay NAS Review

Thecus OS 6

One of the major transformations to the Thecus NAS range is the upgrade to OS 6. Over OS 5, the new layout is set to be far more intuitive and easy to use for both advanced users and novices alike. From the NAS login page, the main screen presents us with options for amending shard folders and RAID management and everything else is handled through a control panel that appears in a separate window, giving access to each of the individual admin features that the NAS has to offer.

The previous generation OS 5 offered a menu system that ran down the left hand side of the screen, an whilst the OS 6 has a far cleaner approach to its layout, it’s still just as easy to use as before.
