Unlike consumer level systems, the TopTower does come in a relatively plain box which we would start to expect at the higher levels, with a simple label on it to identify which system is inside so we can imagine you know what a brown box looks like.

Starting off with the manuals, we do get a pretty standard Thecus affair bundled with the N6850, including a quick installation guide, info sheets, and CDs with various bits of software at accompany the system.

A NAS wouldn’t be complete without cables to connect it all up so we also have a CAT5e patch lead and a kettle lead for power. Alongside these we also have two sets of screws for installing 2.5″ and 3.5″ drives alike and keys for locking the drive trays in place. You will note that we have got a whopping five sets of keys in this photo and like you we thought this was a lot. After a quick email to Thecus, this does appear to be a mis-package, and only two sets of keys should have been in the box, however ours had been opened to include some additional materials for use on our end and these may have got dropped in at that point.
