Thermaltake CTE C700 Air Snow Full Tower PC Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

Honestly, I am absolutely staggered at how much Thermaltake products cost right now. Too expensive? Guess again, I think they’re extremely reasonable. This gargantuan PC case with all its premium features and design will set you back just £129.98, which I think is fantastic for what you get in return. Plus, it’s available in a choice of black or white to suit your taste.

Overview

Earlier this month I reviewed the Thermaltake CTE T500 AIR Snow Full Tower, and I absolutely loved it. It was the first of the new CTE case series that I got hands-on with, and it’s clear this is a step in the right direction for Thermaltake. Interestingly, while that was a more traditional tower design, it still costs the same as this much larger CTE C700 series!

The CTE C700 Air is basically just a bigger and wider version of the T500, and if you prefer a dual-chamber case design like this, then it’s clearly the way to go. However, for those wanting a more traditional mid-tower aesthetic, then the T500 is a real winner too and has a much smaller footprint.

What’s clear though is that all the CTE cases are built with the same philosophy on high-performance airflow and cooling, with extremely robust hardware support, and some of the most robust build quality on the market today.

The idea of front and rear intakes, or even rotated motherboard installations are nothing new. However, it seems that Thermaltake has really put thought and engineering into the concept to really make it practical and easy to use. Everything about this case just makes sense. For air cooling or liquid cooling, it’s a master of its craft.

Should I Buy One?

Durable, easy to use, extremely capable of housing high-end hardware, and with fantastic cooling potential, the CTE C700 Air is going to be hard to beat, especially at this price! I can’t wait to check out more products in the CTE range, as I’m certain it’s going to be a big hit for Thermaltake.
