Thermaltake Debuts Pacific RL and R Series Radiators

Thermaltake has made quite the dip in the modding pool as of late with their release of oh so many amazing products, among the latest being the X9 cube chassis. But they didn’t stop with cases and have also created their Tt LCS series of liquid cooling products. The newest members to join those rank are the Pacific RL (over 50mm thickness) and Pacific R series (under 50mm thickness) radiators with a length of up to 560mm.

The two new Pacific RL and R series radiators are designed with high-quality German aerospace-grade materials and constructed with zinc, a powerful anti-corrosion agent. Using the standard G1/4″ threads makes the setup easy and compatible while the rigid connections ensure they are leak-resistant. With an ideal mounting, fitting and flow set-up, the Thermaltake Pacific Radiator Series is “guaranteed to go above and beyond your current cooling standards”.

The Pacific RL Series is an ultra-thick radiator with over 50mm thickness and a dual-row 13-set flat tube design to increase heat transfer. Water flows down on one side, and then passes through the bottom chamber before being circulated back to the other side of the radiator. The Pacific R Series on the other hand, is a slim radiator with under 50mm thickness using only a single 13-set flat tube design.

The Pacific R series is available as 120mm, 180mm, 240mm, 360mm, and 540mm versions while the Pacific RL series is available with 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360mm, 420mm, 480mm, and 560mm radiator lengths. There should be at least one in between those that match the setup you want to create next.

Thermaltake also released a video on they manufacture these new radiators and it is worth a watch. It’s always interesting to see how parts are manufactured and in this video you get to see all the steps on how a radiator is being created all the way from raw materials to the finished assembly.
