Thermaltake Introduces a Desk Designed For Cycling E-Sports.

Thermaltake has introduced their new CYCLEDESK 100 at an indoor cycling esports tournament introducing me and probably you to the world of cycling E-Sports.

So it turns out there is now E-Sports for Cycling and this desk has been specifically designed for that use case. At Computex 2023 Thermaltake has hosted an Indoor Cycling Esports tournament which involves virtual cycling on a static bike connected to a PC. It allows for the joys of a cycling tournament without the weather and less risk of falling off which defeats the point of cycling. My personal opinions aside let’s look at the Cycledesk 100 which is like Thermaltakes other adjustable gaming desks but a lot smaller. It features a height adjustment function from 72cm to 117cm as well as RGB desk lighting which are both fully customisable through the RGB Desk Mobile App or 6-button easy access panel. Powering the height adjustment is the electric motor which is upgraded to be stable and safe with the inclusion of an anti-collision safety sensor preventing it from colliding with objects. The desk itself doesn’t feature anything that makes it exclusively for cycling as it functions perfectly well for normal use cases just with a smaller size making it ideal for compact systems or laptops, plus it has wheels allowing it to be easily moved around.
