Thermaltake Level 10 GTS Mid-Tower Chassis Review

The left side of the case has a few interesting things going on, in the top right we have a fold out headset mount.  A massive fan mount on the side panel with support for either a 140mm or a 200mm fan installation, there is no fan provided here as standard and lastly we have the 4 quick release drive bays which we’ll talk about more in a moment.

On the right of the case we can see the back panel is raised quite a bit in the middle, allowing plenty of room to hide any relevant cables when using the cable management features, this also allows more room inside the case for air flow and cooling.

Along the top of the case we have another exhaust area, with support for fitting either 1 x 200mm fan or 2 x 120mm fans, but again these are optional fan spaces and the fans are not included with the case.

On the front of the chassis we can see four 5.25″ optical drive bays, along with a space for a card reader or similar device below that, all with ventilated covers that can be quickly removed from the front thanks to their clip in design.  At the bottom left we can see the numbered drive bay, their locking system and buttons, which we’ll take a look at in a moment.

To the right of the drive bays we have a range of ports, 2 x USB 3.0 at the top, microphone and headphone sockets, then two more USB 2.0 sockets down from there

Around the back of the case we can see a small key in the top left of the picture, which is used for locking and unlocking the quick release hard drive bays on the front of the case.  You can also see the pre-installed 120mm rear fan.

Further down the case we can see 7 expansion slots, which come with a simple locking mechanism, this is just a normal thumb screw, so not really a security feature, but it does help keep everything sturdy.  further down we can see the slot for the power supply at the bottom of the case, a fairly standard feature in modern cases as this helps a lot with cooling.

Across the top you can see 3 outlets that can accommodate anything from water cooling solutions or any cables you need to run through the case.

Flipping the case on its side to take a look underneath, there are four rubber feet, which reduce vibration and keeps the unit off the floor, it also allows room for air flow thanks to the quick release dust filter, giving extra air to your power supply and any additional cooling you may wish to install.
