Thermaltake Releases Core P1 Tempered Glass mITX Wall-Mount Chassis

Thermaltake started their Core P series with the P5 wall-mount chassis and continued from there. Then came the Core P3 mATX version and the huge Core P7 extended case. Now the latest Core family member is ready as Thermaltake officially release the new mITX version called the Core P1 Tempered Glass Edition Mini-ITX Wall-Mount chassis.
The Core P1 TG edition makes a stunning display for liquid cooling PC systems without sacrificing performance and taking up too much desk space. Despite the compact size, the case still offers good installation space for the latest PC hardware, including AIO and DIY liquid cooling solutions. Moreover, the Core P1 TG edition boasts an open frame design with a 5mm thick tempered glass panel to protect the components while allowing a panoramic viewing of the hardware inside. As with the other Core P chassis’, the P1 features three setup choices. Vertical, horizontal, and wall-mounted.
Despite the smaller size, the Core P1 still allows for two 2.5-inch drives to be mounted on the outside the chassis and two more drives can be mounted inside the chassis of which one can be a 3.5-inch drive. With an M.2 drive and up to four standard sized drives, you get plenty of storage space in this tiny system.
The case features five expansion slots which might sound like a lot for a mITX system. After all, the motherboards only feature one PCIe slot. But the width for it is there and it allows more flexibility in the installation as well as non-connecting add-in cards to be installed.
As for the cooling options, the Core P1 allows two 120mm fans to be installed, or one 240mm radiator. The clearance for the CPU cooler is 170mm, the graphics card can be up to 380mm with a radiator thinner than 30mm (without fans), and the standard PS2 PSU length is limited to 180mm.
The new Thermaltake Core P1 Tempered Glass mITX chassis is available now for a price of around £116.15.
