Thermaltake Toughpower GF A3 1050W Power Supply Review

Fan Speed

The GF A3 comes with two fan modes, in the active fan mode, the fan always spins, starting around 400 RPM, but increasing to 800 RPM for most loads, and only hitting 1400 RPM after extended 100% loads. However, in hybrid fan mode, the fan is at 0 RPM until the PSU warms up enough, which is typically around 40 – 60% load.

Peter Donnell

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
