Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 1000W Power Supply Review

Ripple

Given that a ‘low ripple noise’ is one of the key features of the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 1000W, this was an aspect of our testing that we were very keen to confirm. – So, is the ripple noise at a good and low level? Well, the short answer to that question is a very resounding yes. Admittedly, the results at 100% load were a little more excitable than we had anticipated, but given that the EU maximum in this regard is 50, as you can see below, these are still hugely below that figure.

With the majority of the results being in single (whole) digits, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 1000W does indeed have a low ripple noise. And, as often is the case with their power supplies, an exceptionally good one too!
