Being a gold-rated efficiency power supply, the Thermaltake Toughpower GF1 ARGB does have some rather high standards to meet in terms of how much power goes in against how much it provides out. Fortunately, in this regard (and as often is the case with Thermaltake power supplies) this well exceeds the expectations.
In our testing, the power supply easily managed to achieve the gold-rated efficiency requirements and even almost found itself matching the requirements of the Platinum level of performance.
Put simply, for a gold power supply to constantly perform above 90% efficiency is excellent!
While the PFC numbers do start a little on the low side, they ramp up quite considerably once you start asking this PSU to perform harder. Achieving a score above 0.95 at 100% load is a really good figure and clearly is indicative of excellent design.
Overall, the voltage regulation test results were exactly as good as we expected them to be. As you can see in the charts below, the overall deviancy across the entire output load was remarkably low.
Be it 12v, 5v, 3v and all other voltages provided, this provides some nice, solid, and above all, consistent results!
