Thermaltake TT Premium X1 RGB Keyboard Now Available

Another Thermaltake RGB Gaming Keyboard

Thermaltake recently unveiled their TT Premium X1 RGB Gaming keyboard at CES 2018 and it is now available. Although it is not the first mechanical keyboard from Thermaltake, it is their first under the new TT Premium gaming line. It uses Cherry MX Blue or Cherry MX Silver switch options in a 104-key ANSI layout.

It also maximizes the RGB lighting potential by using floating keys and transparent housing for the switches. This allows light to bleed out surrounding each keycap rather than just through the laser-etched legends. The TT X1 Premium also offers additional ergonomic support via wrist rest. Moreover, there is also USB and audio passthrough so users can simply plug in their headphones on the keyboard itself.

In terms of features, the multimedia keys and LED controls are on their own dedicated buttons. Plus, the volume control uses an analog roller for easier adjustments even while gaming. It still has a secondary Fn key function for accessing more advanced settings. This includes preset switching, LED modes and more. Users can even fine tune other features via the TT Premium X1 RGB software. Furthermore, it has is compatible with a host of Thermaltake power and liquid Cooling RGB LED solutions for a full setup lighting synchronization.

How Much is the TT Premium X1 RGB?

Each keyboard costs 144.90€ (VAT incl.) for the Cherry MX Silver switch via Thermaltake’s TT Premium website. The Cherry MX Blue switch version costs a little less at 139,90€. They now have localized availability in USA, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, China and the rest of Asia as well. This allows users to order directly from Thermaltake.
