Thermaltake UK Introduces TT PowerCare 48-Hour PSU Replacement Service

Downtime isn’t good for anyone, be that as a PC gamer, a business owner, or an employee, and having a quick and reliable way of getting your PC back up and running after an issue is vital. That’s where Thermaltake are stepping up their game, as today they’ve revealed the launch of TT PowerCare.

This is a new premium after-sales service, which they say has been designed to deliver “faster, simpler, and more reliable support for customers purchasing Thermaltake power supply units in the UK.” and that means you can get their PSUs, and more importantly a replacement PSU should the need ever arrise, within just 48 hours.

From this month onwards, the new TT PowerCare service will be introduced across Thermaltake’s PSU range, on top of the existing extended warranty. Thermaltake says that under this new service, if a power supply unit is verified as faulty, Thermaltake UK will arrange a replacement within 48 working hours from the date of verification.

Considering that Thermaltake already has award-winning power supplies, with rock solid reliability, I’m guessing they won’t have to replace too many units. I’ve personally never had one of their break on me, and I certainly have put many of them through years of heavy usage at home and in the office. That being said, their warranties are already superb, offering many years of after care, often up to 10-years after purchase. However, the added peace of mind of a full replacement product in such a short space of time, certainly reinforced that peace of mind factor.

No Return Required

Furthermore, end users will no longer be required to return the faulty PSU. This eliminates unnecessary downtime and logistical delays, ensuring customers can get their systems back up and running as quickly as possible.

TT PowerCare will be supported at launch by the following UK retail partners, however, Thermaltake say that additional partners may be added in the future as the program expands, and said that “TT PowerCare reflects Thermaltake UK’s ongoing commitment to raising service standards and delivering best-in-class customer assurance for enthusiasts, system integrators, and everyday PC users alike.”
