Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X Review

Flight sim and space sim gaming have always been like a backbone of the high-end PC market, never really hitting the mega mass-market appeal, but always steadily pushing for increased realism and immersion. The ever-improving Microsoft Flight Simulator is certainly a big part of that now, and with it available on PC, Cloud and Xbox, there’s never been so much access to such a powerful simulator for everyone from the casual gamer to the enthusiast. With that in mind, Thrustmaster’s latest flight stick comes setup to take full advantage of the latest simulation titles, with plug-and-play support on both PC and Xbox Consoles, making it very user friendly.

Thrustmaster T.Flight Full Kit X

The Xbox T.Flight Hotas One is branded for Xbox One, but it fully supports Xbox Series X|S consoles too. It has a fully equipped throttle and stick design, but it also has the very first rudder pedals to feature the S.M.A.R.T (Sliding Motion Advanced Rail Track) slide rails system, which Thrustmaster say is “a technological marvel with 4 slide rails crafted of industrial-grade aluminium for incredibly smooth sliding motion; a self-centring rudder axis, for the perfect balance between smoothness and resistance; and a long-range of travel on the rudder axis, for precise manoeuvres.” and well, who am I to argue with that! With a flight stick, throttle, and foot controls, you really have everything you need for Elite Dangerous cargo missions to simulate landing a Boeing 777 in Flight Simulator. Furthermore, at around £150, it’s reasonably affordable, given you can spend many times that on sim hardware.
