Titanfall 2 Minimum Specs And PC Details Revealed

The original Titanfall game launched on PC and Xbox One with a decent amount of success, although the PC player base dwindled fairly rapidly. From my own experience, the PC version was enjoyable and ran smoothly on a number of different configurations. Evidently, EA aims to turn Titanfall into a major franchise and release various sequels. The latest entry, Titanfall 2 is a multi-platform title and I’m interested to see how the game compares to its predecessor. In a really comprehensive blog post, Titanfall 2 producer Drew Mccoy unveiled the PC minimum requirements and even informed users what hardware they’ll need to achieve 60 frames-per-second on a 4K monitor:

  • Uncapped framerate up to 144fps (on a 60hz display with V-Sync Disabled you can run up to 144fps)

  • Individual localization audio files to reduce download and installation size
  • Gamepad support with multiple configs and sensitivity options
  • Savegame and config stored in the cloud (video and control configs are editable .txt files!)
  • Voice and text chat in-game and in-Network
  • Multiplayer anti-cheat out of the box

This exceptional array of options bodes well for the PC version and it looks likely that the game will be a technical treat. Judging by the requirements and options menu, Titanfall 2 should run smoothly and take advantage of PC hardware to its full potential.
