Toshiba Launches 7mm 1TB HDD

Solid state drives (SSDs) may be the future of storage, but hard drive disks still serve as a cost-effective method for containing your data. With that in mind, Toshiba is launching a new 1TB 2.5-inch HDD. Indeed, the 7mm slimline MQ04 boasts a 6 Gbps SATA interface and 5,400 rpm. In addition, the drive is lightweight and quiet, according to Toshiba.

Toshiba Says

The new model is also quieter and weighs less than prior generations.”
