Aside from Telltale’s own Game of Thrones title, it’s hard to find another game set in George RR Martin’s unique universe, but it looks like a modder has figured out a way to put together a few massive battles between all of the Games of Thrones factions. We’re talking about a special mod for Total War: Attila, which was dubbed Seven Kingdoms: Total War. The latest version of this ambitious mod offers a complete faction and unit overhaul, which hopes to depict in vivid detail all of the primary land forces of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the Riverlands. The main changes include unit uniforms, weapons, and other subtle aesthetic details borrowed from the series.
Apart from adding the Night’s Watch, Hornwood, and Free Folk factions, the mod also includes a generous selection of new generals such as Ned Stark, Alliser Thorne, Rickard Karstark, Euron Greyjoy, Mance Rayder, Davos Seaworth, Loras Tyrell, Kevan Lannister, and Tormund Giantsbane. Moreover, several balance-related tweaks have also been implemented, and the overall gameplay has been refined when compared to the previous version. Those of you who are interested in re-creating some of the series’ famous battles are now free to do so by downloading the mod right here.
