TP-Link announce 450mbps Wireless-N dual band PCIe adapter

TP-Link today announced its Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapte with wireless speed of up to 450 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and at 5 GHz.

Due to a variety of devices in the home or office operating on the 2.4 GHz band—such as cordless phones, microwaves, automatic garage door openers, Bluetooth devices, and especially neighboring wireless networks—the likelihood of wireless interference is unavoidable. Setting up a network on the 5 GHz band gives you access to an entire range of free channels to transmit data, stream HD movies, and play online games, while utilizing the 2.4 GHz band will increase your PC’s versatility and ensure the stability of your latency-sensitive applications.

The Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter is equipped with three external detachable Omni-directional antennas to ensure optimum wireless performance and stability. Wireless-N’s “Multiple In, Multiple Out” (MIMO) technology significantly increases data throughput and link range to achieve a diversity gain and link reliability.

450 Mbps Wireless N Dual Band PCI Express Adapter (TL-WDN4800) – $44.99 – Product Available Online April 2012. For details on where to buy, please visit here.
