TRENDnet announces the availability of their 5-Port Hardened Industrial Gigabit PoE+ DIN-Rail Switch, model TI-PG541. The new switch is hardened and well suited for industrial PoE applications and expands TRENDnet’s portfolio of PoE IP cameras, access points, splitters, and injectors.
The TI-PG541 has four Gigabit PoE+ (802.3at) ports, one Gigabit port, and one Gigabit SFP slot. It can deliver 120 W full PoE+ power budget with 30W for each port and has 12 Gbps switching capacity.
The hardened IP30 rated metal switch with integrated DIN-Rail mount can operate at extreme temperatures range of -20 to 60 ºC (-4 to 140 ºF) and features support for dual redundant power input with overload protection. It also has an alarm output trigger by power failure and is rated for shock (IEC 60068-2-27), freefall (IEC 60068-2-32), and vibration (IEC 60068-2-6).
The TRENDnet TI-PG541 comes backed by a 3-year warranty and has an MSRP of $249.99 without power adapter that is sold separately.
