Turtle Beach change their designs less often than the Porsche 911, but change they do. Their new packaging is a slight departure from their old colour scheme and there’s a more matte grey look this time around. I quite like it. The large and clear photo of the headset on the front really pops and shows off lots of details.
Around the back, there is a nice breakdown of all the major features, and it’s broken down into multiple languages on the side too. Clearly they intend for one box for all markets, which is great, as it often means less waste.
The interior features a custom carboard mould that securely stores all of the components and the headset.
Plus, there’s protective plastic over the headset to keep it extra clean. In the box, you’ll find the usual documentation.
Plus the USB C charging cable, and the USB wireless dongle.
The cable is USB A to C, so easily replaced should you lose it or wish to use your own.
The dongle is really compact too, so it’s not going to restrict console placement too much.
