I’m a big fan of the Turtle Beach headset range, as they’ve consistently delivered great headsets. While I think the style of their headsets is getting a little dated, there’s no mistaking them for a Turtle Beach. Of course, their design is pretty tight, and they’ve kept it similar for a good reason, it works well, it’s lightweight, and the build quality is excellent. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
With that in mind, the Stealth 700 does look familiar to anyone who’s owned a Turtle Beach headset in recent years, albeit with a few minor tweaks here and there to introduce a few new features. Firstly, this is one of their mid-to-high-end 100% wireless models. No cables mean no mess, and with around 10 hours battery life, you shouldn’t be reaching for a charging cable too often.
The prominent features of this headset come through its pairing with the mobile app from Turtle Beach. While some of their models like the 600 relied more on the on-headset controls, the mobile app allows you to change the EQ and other features of the headset with ease.
As you can see, the feature list is pretty extensive, so have a read through that, and join me further down the page when you’re done for a closer look at what’s on offer.
