Valkyrie V240 Lite AIO CPU Cooler Review

Valkyrie V240 Lite AIO CPU Cooler Review

Valkyrie is rapidly becoming one of the hottest PC brands, with a range of award-winning coolers, cases, peripherals, and more hitting the market that continue to impress. We’re big fans of what they do, and that was taken to the next level once we visited their factory and saw the level of care and quality they put into their products. While the new V240 Lite is an entry-level all-in-one CPU liquid cooler, rather than one of their more extreme products, I’m still excited to see what it has to offer. Designed for PC enthusiasts and gamers, this cooler is a 240mm, aimed at providing efficient cooling for a wide range of coolers, while also offering broad support for a wide range of PC cases and form factors.

Valkyrie V240 Lite

Valkyrie has engineered the V240 Lite with several unique features to keep it competitive in today’s market, and with strong competition from its many competitors, it has to deliver on quality and features, but on paper at least, it seems to do just that. The cooler’s most striking visual element is its mechanical, industrial design, which includes an exposed circuit board in the pump unit, providing a distinctive aesthetic. The pump top can be rotated 90 degrees, allowing users to orient the Valkyrie logo correctly regardless of the cooler’s installation. The included Valkyrie B12 fans are designed specifically for radiators, boasting impressive static pressure to drive air efficiently through the radiator fins, improving cooling performance while keeping noise level in check. The fans and pump also feature addressable RGB lighting, which can be customised to match any build’s colour scheme.

Features

  • Award-winning, high-speed pump: Ensures excellent liquid circulation for superior heat transfer.
  • Fans designed specifically for radiators: Boast extreme static pressure for efficient cooling.
  • Unique mechanical look: The exposed circuit board on the pump unit provides a distinctive industrial aesthetic.
  • 90-degree rotatable pump top: Allows for flexible and correct logo orientation during installation.
  • Powerful airflow: Ensures effective heat dissipation from the radiator.
  • Dominant build quality: Constructed with premium materials for durability and performance.
  • Addressable RGB lighting: Featured on both the pump and fans for customisable visual effects.
  • Five-year warranty: Provides long-term peace of mind for the user.

The V240 Lite is a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler with an aluminium radiator and a copper cold plate for excellent heat dissipation. The high-speed pump operates between 800 and 2800 RPM, while the two 120mm Valkyrie B12 fans have a speed range of 800 to 2150 RPM. The fans are equipped with fluid dynamic bearings for quiet and long-lasting operation, producing a maximum noise level of just 30.5 dBA. This cooler is highly compatible with both current and upcoming CPU sockets from Intel and AMD, supporting a thermal design power (TDP) of up to 250W, which covers most of the most popular models on the market.
