WhatsApp Finally Launches on iPad; Available Now for Download
One of the most famous apps in the world, WhatsApp, has finally arrived on iPad. Despite being a leading messaging app for smartphones, it has never been available for Apple’s tablet devices – until now.
The app, owned by Meta (formerly Facebook), has officially launched a version for iPads. This new version is designed for the larger screen sizes of tablets, and it allows users to enjoy WhatsApp in both portrait and landscape modes. This update comes 16 years after WhatsApp first launched on iOS.
WhatsApp’s Full Features on iPad
The WhatsApp version for iPad includes all the same features you know from the iPhone app. You can send messages, create groups, make video calls with up to 32 people, share your screen, and use all the cameras on your iPad. The app is also fully integrated with the iPad’s multitasking system, meaning you can use features like split view or State Manager on compatible iPad models.
In addition, the app supports iPad accessories such as the keyboard and stylus, allowing for a smoother experience when typing or navigating.
Now Available for Download
WhatsApp for iPad is available for download directly from the Apple App Store. This long-awaited version lets iPad users enjoy WhatsApp just as they would on a phone, but with the added benefits of a larger screen.
