Microsoft announced at their annual worldwide partner conference the sales figures from their software products. CEO Steve Ballmer announced that sales of Windows 7 had reached 400 million licenses which is impressive given just last June the number was 150 million and by October it was 240 million. That means that Microsoft have sold 400 million copies in under 2 years making Windows 7 the fastest selling operating system in history. Microsoft also announced that the number of Office 2010 licenses sold rose to 100 million.
