Xbox 360 Receives Surprise Update in 2025, Improving Menu and Visuals

Xbox 360 is a console that, next November, will celebrate 20 years since its original launch. However, this has not stopped Microsoft from surprising users with a new update for this veteran machine in 2025.

More specifically, Xbox 360 has just received a new update for the main menu that makes the game thumbnails look much better than before. In the previous version, some of these images appeared stretched and distorted, but now they fit perfectly within the window in which they are displayed.

Additionally, this update has also brought with it new advertisements for Microsoft’s current consoles, such as the Xbox One S, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, urging players who continue to use their Xbox 360 to upgrade and make the leap to the new generation.

Main Menu Now Looks Cleaner and Easier to Use

Finally, the main menu now looks a little cleaner and clearer, making it more visually appealing and comfortable to use. However, it’s important to note that the Xbox 360 digital store closed its doors in July of last year, meaning it is still impossible to access it from the console to purchase games and downloadable content.
