The eagle-eyed news-writers over at Softpedia have spotted signs of the Xbox One’s release date courtesy of a promotion being run by Mountain Dew, Microsoft and Doritos called “Every 2 Minutes”. The competition gives away the hints that we should see the new console launch in late November:
“Xbox One has targeted launch date of late November 2013; therefore, the initial shipments may be slightly delayed; please allow 12-14 weeks for delivery.” States the official rules of the promotion.
Up to now Microsoft has yet to officially confirm the launch date of the Xbox One but it has been narrowed down to the November time frame. Impatient console gamers looking to get the game as early as possible will be disappointed to know that you’ll have to wait towards the end of November to get your hands on the console. Unless you’re in select European countries in which case Microsoft will delay your Xbox One well into 2014.
