As a part of the Xbox Showcase event, Xbox revealed a new black variant of the Xbox Series S console previously only in white.
The Xbox Series S has until now only been available in a white colour which some people may not like and would much prefer a black option like the original Xbox One or Series X to fit into their living room or gaming setup. Finally, Xbox has revealed a carbon black variant of this console with 1T B of SSD storage which is larger than the original Series S with 512GB which is quite tiny and I feel as though this console should be featuring 2 TB by now with the size of games, not to mention how expensive the expansion cards are. With the increase in storage and new black paint job has also tacked on a $50 premium onto the price tag bringing the console up to $349 which is likely still being sold at a loss.
The console will be available from September 1st 2023 and you can watch the full reveal below.
