XFX DD R9 380X 4GB Graphics Card Review

Noise, Power Consumption and Temperatures

Noise

We had a slight issue with our card that required additional voltage introduced to maintain a stable 1030MHz core clock. This then resulted in a higher than normal temperature and higher fan speed.

Power Consumption

As already mentioned, the increased power limit results in a higher power consumption.

Temperatures

Temperatures were increased slightly due to the introduction of more power to maintain a stable core clock speed, but just 5°c higher than a Sapphire Nitro R9 390 is impressive considering the similar power consumption.
