XFX HD 7790 Black Edition OC Review

3DMark 11 is the latest offering from Futuremark, taking full advantage of DirectX 11 by utilising tessellation features and volumetric lighting. It takes your graphics and CPU hardware to the edge to simulate the most extreme conditions whilst working as a stand point to compare results with other users online.

As seen previously, the slightly improved 650Ti with Boost from NVIDIA is more of a direct competitor for the 7790, but the Black Edition card from XFX gives the green teams card a good run for its money, outperforming it on the performance pre-set whilst the Xtreme pre-set is more of a challenge.
