PRO1250W

XFX have recently unveiled three new PSUs, all of which fall under their ProSeries, a line up specifically aiming at PC gamers, who find themselves bombarded with these new models composed of 1000W, 1050W and 1250W.

PRO1050W

Both the 1050W and the 1250W have the 80 Plus Gold certification, but the 1000W goes further, joining the higher class with 80 Plus Platinum. All three feature modular cabling, including the essentials and are connected to what may not look like a PSU at first, but some kind of futuristic weapon crate.

PRO1000W

XFX have incorporated them with what they call SolidLink technology, which consists of minimizing the energy loss by soldering the cable connectors directly to the PCB instead of using wires.

All three feature a single 12V rail to ensure efficient power distribution, as well as active PFC and active protection against over voltage, over current, overheat and short circuit.

The cooling is taken care of by a 135mm fan connected to an active controller that prioritizes silence, although if that were to fail, a 5 year warranty is provided by XFX  for all models.

Pricing and availability are unknown.
