Like with all XFX power supplies the OEM producer of this one is Seasonic.

The XFX Pro 750W XXX edition has two Y capacitors, one X capacitor and a ferrite coil.

Moving over to the right and we have more ferrite coils, two more Y capacitors and one X capacitor for additional transient filtering.

The main hold up caps are both different but are made by Rubycon as far as I know. The first one is 400v with 330uF and the second is 400v with 220uF. Both are rated for 105 degrees.

The rest of the unit uses a DC to DC converter design with high quality 105 degree rated Japanense Nippon Chemi Con capacitors.

  1. Skidmarks says:

Over here XFX PSU’s generally tend to retail for a fair bit less than the Seasonic units they’re based upon. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one if I were in the market and had to purchase my stuff.

  2. Alexander Nyman says:

As I own one of these units, I’ll say that the unit is extremely loud even at idle. It is the only audible thing in my computer and by audible I mean very loud. It’s not an annoying sound, but a constant air flow which is bothersome when the rest of the computer is close to silent.
